Hoop Skool is inspired by Networks Basketball, we have adapted their training style here in Ireland to suit our players needs.

Networks first arrived in Ireland in 1995 and began working with players and families here. Shortly after groups of players and teams travelled to North Carolina to work in their programmes. This continued for numerous years. In recent years Coach Clarges has been trained by Dr Mike Hollis in some of his newest programmes such as the Basketball Character Development Ball Handling Programme “Because I Can”.

We continue to have a connection with them as they often travel to Ireland to work as guest coaches at Hoop Skool Basketball Camps and Team /Club Workshops.

2014 saw Networks Basketball return to Ireland to work as guest coaches with Hoop Skool at their annual camp , it was a great success.

Networks Basketball and Hoop Skool Basketball also delivered numerous team development clinics with Irish teams including Pro team Swords Thunder, Lady Gators from Wicklow and St Andrews College Booterstown. They also got the opportunity to work with individuals like Conor Grace from Templeogue and Conor Gallagher from Sword Thunder on a personal coaching level.

In 2015 they revisited us again and accompanied Hoops Skool on a Tour of Ireland delivering workshops to Clubs in Co. Clare, Co. Laois and Co. Wicklow. It was a great success reaching out to players across the country.

Since 2014 Networks basketball has delivered camps with Hoop Skool Basketball every Halloween and Easter Break. In 2015, 2016, 2017 & 2018 Groups have travelled to Apex North Carolina to attend team camps for 2 week periods and some up to 1 month in their individualised programmes. In 2017 we ventured to Scotland to work with our sister programme Elite Basketball Skills and have been delivering camps there in 2018 at Easter and Halloween. The players here in Ireland look forward to the strong connections with Networks Basketball and Elite Basketball Skills. It is great for us to allow our players to access high-quality coaching and a variety of coaches to work with them. We continue to build strong relationships with them and they love to come back to see players improve on many levels.
